Default Anyone make a heatshield for an efr 6258?

Feeling lazy. Looking to hit the easy button for a heatshield on this vs. making something fugly with my lack of fab skills.

I've read that the flyin Miata shield fits the 6258, but the only part of my kit that is FM is the IC pipes so I am not super excited about a shield that says flyin Miata on it (dumb I know).

That's not dumb. It's a shame that you not only have to pay for the product but that you are forced to advertise for the manufacturer as well.

Just pop the rivets off. It's not etched, it's just a plate, right?

Unsolicited post I know, but I have a FM heatshield that I don't plan on using you wanted to buy a used one to hack apart.

I have one on my MK turbo kit. I have to get rid of the FM logo too. It's just 4 rivets holding a cnc'ed cut plate on. I know that FM's shield is stainless but do you think if I made an aluminum plate, etched with MK's logo it would work ok, given the heat expansion difference of the two metals?
