So I got this crazy deal on a 99 NB with a #4 bearing issue and after I put in a new engine, I'm thinking turbo. I've done a couple of searches here and there on this forum and others but what are my options/recommendations. As it stands now the FM Voodoo II setup seems (5K on a hydra setup is mental) to be my pick. What about the BEGI setups? Or a DIY setup? I know there are a few NB owners on this board and any help would be more than great.

MS has been done by a few Exede works as well a nice t3 or 2860 will wake up the car quite abit. Please tell us more about your gaols and people here who have done similiar things will chime in and relate there experiences onto you so that you can make a more educated decission. DIY is no harder than a kit it just takes abit more home work to get done right. So give us HP gaols performance gaols, autoX, dragstrip, raod course, street racing let us know

Well, how about you start my establishing some power goals and decide what you want to use the car for. If you just want to drive it like any other car as a DD that's cool but if you want to track it or something similar then some other things come into play.
Begi setups are supposedly great and if I was going to just drop some coin on a turbo kit to bolt it on I would get a BEGI kit and do my own Megasquirt setup. I don't like FM's kits, the silicone IC pipes or really any of it including the voodoo box. The voodoo box will be just fine if you never want to boost over 7-8 psi on an average T25.

Edit: Guess I was a little slow.

Quick response fellas! The answers that I've received so far have been extremely FM biased and it's good to get another perspective. Basically I'm looking for a DD that will see the occasional track days and auto x. Something that beats up on Mustangs and other "performance" cars would be nice. Perhaps around 200hp to wheels.

still standing by DIY, take the time to find what you want. and MS PnP (when available) or build it. A t25 will get you 200 whp and it will spool quickly.
