Default t3/t4 ... t3 ... t25?

Which one should I get.. i am leaning towards the t3, but I want to make sure I can obtain 220hp with little lag. I also want to make sure that it bolts with a BEGI manifold because BEGI PWNS MY SAWCKS!

edit: or maybe an SR20

which does everyone prefer?

I wish I could've traded some socks for my manifold and downpipe...

that will bolt up to the begi manifold? and 220 hp is attainable without putting too much stress on the turbo with the t3s60?

Depends on what your manifold was drilled for. Without knowing if you have purchased a mani (or what it's drilled for), we can't tell you if a T2 or T3 flange will work. You can order either from BEGi, but then you are stuck to T2 turbos or T3 turbos. Hope this helps.

The t3s60 will bolt up to the BEGI T3 mani and yes it won't be strained trying to make 220 hp.
I'm pretty sure the T3s60 runs out of steam close to 300hp.

It's not my favorite, but if you're looking for 210-230 rwhp with instant boost, you need a gt2554.

The T3S60 isn't a real laggy turbo, but is in comparison to the 54.

stop me if I'm wrong, but also remember that the t25 and gt25 have different flanges at the dp...and begi uses the gt turbo...right?

I don't think BEGi would have trouble making a DP with a different flange. They are pretty damn good at what they do over there.

its not all that laggy at all, even on my 2.25" catback. Compared to a 54 yeah, but then most turbos are, but I can dump in way more topend and pass you in few extra seconds

plus they already have a manifold and DP combo (that fits the standard 3 bolt 2.5" outlet) for it. (ask me how i know)

Oh t3s60 looks to be a kick *** turbo. Don't feel slighted. But for instaboost to 220 hp, something smaller would be better.

Yes, the s60 has a lot more up top. Trade offs.

YEP... Still, I prefer the T3S60. Both are good choices for different reasons.

The GT2554 is the better auto-x turbo with killer response time... HP limited around 240 RWHP.

The T3s60 is the low buck king of the street. Great turbo that's good in just about any situation... runs out of steam near 300 RWHP.

Really if you get bored with the GT2554R, you will probably want the GT3071. It is the largest turbo in the T2 family and anything in between is not going to really satisfy the HP craving that you will have if you outgrow the GT2254R. In the unlikely event you outgrow the GT3071R you will have to get a T3 style manifold and redo a whole bunch of piping.

What I don't like about the GT series is the price. I just can't justify $900 on a turbo when I can make a boatload of power on a $200-400 turbo. While the ball bearing turbos are nice all you need to do is take a ride in a T3s60 car to get my point.

There is a lot of missing information missing in this equation. You need to tell us exactly what you are looking for in the turbo system. Do you want it to spool up really fast, or do you want to trade for more top end and more room for expansion when you want more power? Once you decide on these and if you are going to have a stock long block, that will help in the conclusion of what you want.
