Anyone used a MITSU TD03 turbo on 1.6 miata?

I acquired a couple MITSU TD03 turbos off a 01 Volvo S80 T6. I was looking for low end power instant Boost no lag whatsoever would one of these be to small? Thanks for help. i have searched quite a bit trying to find good info about these turbos with no luck

flanges are not going to fit anything commonly available.

get a gt2554 or sr t25 if you want easy compatibility and fast spool

or a small t3 footprint since you have a 1.6 and can use the taco log

Look at this for flange info:

Thanks for the advice but im going to custom machine a steel adapter plate. im going to use a t3 flanged cast log manifold and the 4 bolt td03 flange the fit is super close i was more asking about the performance you can get out the TD03?

it's kind of sad to see the options available for a car such as the miata... I just got a miata a year ago and I thinking of building a second engine and turbo it, but the choices as far as manifolds are little. Love the car, but the options are very limited. keep us posted.

go fuck yourself.

i know a guy here running that turbo he just made the whole exhaust himself.

Options exist you just have to pay for them if you want something other then t2 or t3 flange.

Completely agree, I trying to contact John @ JSPFAB to get my fabrication done when I'm ready. I'm new to the site and I think this is the only forum I'll be visiting. Didn't mean to offed anybody.
