begi alpha omega 1.6 manifold

I bought a used alpha omega kit for the 1.6. The manifold was cracked and repaired by BEGI. Is this thing going to crack on me too?

I don't think Corky ever made the alpha omega in a cast version for the 1.6. Can you post pictures of what you have?

its not a cast manifold, its steel welded one.

Are you sure that's a welded steel manifold? From that rad picture, it sure looks cast and not very alpha.

Yeah I'm sure. ill post better pictures later.

I dont want to waste money and have to spend 700 later on down the line to replace this manifold, id rather sell it and buy manifold i know will not crack.

Well, the good news is that you will not have to spend $700 later to replace the manifold. its long been discontinued, and you cannot replace it.

So you will be spending that money and then some on getting a matching manifold/dp set and a new IWG turbo.

no cast manifold will line up with the ewg and the downpipe you have, it all has to be a matched set. so sell this setup as a whole, and buy a Kraken manifold/dp combo, or run what you have and hope it wont crack.
