Can I just take off the factory SR lines and mig weld the holes shut?

I tried searching and did find that I can run just the oil feed and not the coolant lines, but I was wondering if I can just weld them shut or if I gotta just cap them off.

I dont know where really.. i havent given it much thought after i heard i didnt need them lol is it simply a matter of tee'ng into the coolang lines off the manifold?

in and out. not even a need for a T. just some 3/8 hose.

If it was designed for use with coolant, you should run coolant.
