Boost control issues
 

Curious if you guys have any suggestions...

i have a 13 Club with a 2.5 and a Fab9 turbo kit (EFR 6758). With the custom intake manifold and 3” exhaust I’m making 360rwhp at 18psi.

Car was running great but the fuel pump was going out. Started running lean at cruise. The car was tuned to run 16-18psi, max. The line one from the boost control solenoid came off- zero boost control and saw psi over 20. I attached it with a worm clamp- then only 7-9psi (spring pressure I suppose). Took it back off and 20+ again. I replaced the solenoid, so doubtful both are bad. Is this a wastegate issue? A boost controller issue I’m using a SGC1). Something else?

Why are you going into boost with a bad fuel pump?

Possible the reason i cracked a piston in half.
I bought a bigger fuel pump the next day.
Learn from others mistakes.
