Boost on forged internals
I have read a ton of threads about the safe max boost level on standard internals.
I was wondering what boost levels people are running on forged pistons / rods etc.
So - whats your boost and what power are you seeing? Are you using lower compression pistons (9:0?)

Torque, static compression ratio, boost/dynamic compression, knock/ping and RPM are what kill engine internals, not just boost. Actually, because it's calculated by torque and RPM, max. attainable horsepower would actually be more appropriate thing to ask, although it's only a little less incorrect than max. boost.
616rwhp (700+hp at the crank) is the most powerful Miata on record so far.

I don't see in your profile where you specify whether or not you have forged internals, so it's hard to say, but, if tuned well, you can see 250-300rwhp on stock internals.
That said, your turbo is only good for ~240rwhp, tops, so that's about what you can achieve with you current setup.

I dont have the internals at the moment - but will hopefully be getting some in the next couple of weeks. With the turbo - are their others that are a little larger that use the same flange?
internals with that turbo would be a waste. upgrade to a 3071, which will drop right in, and you can make serious power.
but then, your injectors are far too small, and your exhaust is as well. add it all up, and plan on spending about 2000$ if you want to step it up.
