I don't see sanding with 220g to make it smooth enough for that problem. I've only ever heard of that being an issue with mirror-smooth polished intakes.

Its smooth but not that smooth. Its still rough to the touch. I dont think ive ever heard it will puddle the fuel if to smooth? My buddy with a DSM has is intake so smooth it looks like its chromed out (*Bling*Bling*) Yeah that smooth. And as for the differance when driving i notice that top end is stonger till redline with only polishing done to it

Ok so i've taken the car for a few drives to get the break in miles put on it to change the oil. Theres a couple of things i've noticed that seem differant.

1. The tranny sounds louder and wines more it seems? I have 80-90 GL5 in there now and shifts fine. so?
2. Speedo seems to move alot and not stay steddy within 2-3 mph bounce. Im going to disconect the cable from the tranny and clean it to see if thats it?
3. The idle sticks high? like you rev it up and drops to like 1700 then stays for like 20sec. and then drops to the 1000-900 rpm range and stays untill reved up again
4. An extra vacuum port on the front of the manifold? Its just off the front runner about 3" off head. I have it caped now but can't find any place for it?
