Default In for real now

After dabbling for months buying parts, I had most of the turbo parts but the real money was spent the last few days.

Ordered my Zoom 3 PnP
Bought AEM WB
Bought ACT HDSS clutch

I got my weld els today so I'm going to start fabbing the mani. Zoom3 is supposed to be two weeks out, clutch a few days. WB arrived yesterday. I ended up buying the clutch from the guy that had the WB's for sale. He ended up cheaper than Carolina Clutch. $340 + $30 shipping. Best that I have seen.

I have so much time off the rest of the year for holidays, I should have no problem finishing by new years day. I'm stoked to actually get started.

Mint- good for you.
It's a great feeling having your MS, knowing that that little box can make your car do almost anything.

I used to have a life too before I found Miataturbo.net
My wife complains saying that my beloved M.S is breaking up the marriage... I know she loves me, I'm not sure about the wife tho

Shipping department has been a bit miffed lately. Every time something shows up they have to deliver it to my office. Clutch came, big box o' mandrel bends for IC pipes, water and oil fittings, a set of frame rails

I started my mani the other day. I'll get some pics of it as soon as I get one more tube cut. Looks like it is going to come out pretty good.

Still need to decide which IC, where I'm going to run charge pipes.

I wanted to keep this thing stealth, so gauge pods were an issue. No pillar or dash mounted guages. I ended up ordering a single gauge pod that replaces the top section of the steering column cover from ATI. Auto-Tech Interiors
I only need one for the AEM UEGO. I won't have a boost gauge mounted for every day use. I can velcro something when road tuning.

I have a slightly stealthier approach for a wideband gauge on NB's....

But that's the only aftermarket gauge I run. And it's not visible unless you're sitting in the drivers seat.

For real this thread needs more pics.
