Can't find a boost leak

So on my 99 I hooked up a boost tester and I have a huge leak somewhere between the egr and fuel rail area from the underside (maxing out at 5 psi). The egr tube is cut and filtered and its not leaking from there. I also just replaced the vacuum line with the check valve hidden under the upper intake, and its not from the fuel injectors. Can the egr leak and it not be through the tube? Any other ideas?

Intake manifold gasket? You egr block isnt as good as you think? Are you 100% sure it isnt the injector seal? Master cylinder hose?

Thanks for the suggestions. It's definitely not the egr tube, or injector seals. The gasket is a possibility, but it sure seemed like a lot of air moving for a failed intake manifold gasket.

I built a boost leak tester, just cant figure out exactly where the sound is coming from.

If you got any friends that are straight vape nation, you could have them blow smoke into the intake and then pressurize it. Should see where it's coming out. Or use anything that produces a smoke/fog.

How are you verifying all of the intake valves are closed?

I can hear a big leak. Both valves would have to be open for that to be an issue anyway.

Get a piece of hose, like vacuum hose, stick one end in your ear and probe with the other end to listen for the leak. You'll be able to hear exactly where the air is going.

Well, I ran a smoke test and smoke poured out of the body of the egr. I didn't have time to test further, but hopefully that's the only issue.
