TOMORRROW I'M BUYING A TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -slight hijack- Now I can actually put the Miata up on jacks and start installing all the stuff in my sig. Imagine, after months and months of me blathering all this bullshit around the forum... I'll finally gonna be ONE OF US... gooble gobble, gooble gobble, one of us, one of us!!! Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and I'll be rollin' on 20's in a used 55kmile '02 Dodge Ram quad-cab. Pics will be up in the garage when purchase complete. -end of hijack- |
there's nothing wrong with dsm turbos, no doubt i loved the 20g i had on my 91gsx, though that would be the upper limit for all but the most extreme miatas. It's been years since i've had my gsx but when i was last reading about them some of the common uprade turbos you could have gotten would have been 20g, 19c, 18g evo 3 16g, big 16g, small 16g, 14b, and a t25. there's tons more too. so what i'm trying to say is there's no shortage of turbo upgrades.

Sometimes you guys make the T3 out to be this exotic turbo. They are dirt cheap,EVERYONE has turbine intlet and outlet flanges for fabrication, gaskets and oil feed/return parts are sold at ever "Turbo" store, and you have an outstanding up grade path.

and BEGi makes stuff for the T3, so you have a chance to get a great manifold/dp combo for one.
|
Seems like a bunch of choices, even if going cheap. Maybe I should wait for a used mani/dp to come for sale and then grab a cheap turbo to fit it.

you can always sell a t25 turbo quick .if you upgrade.

Turbo choices are many. Best to start with the manifold/downpipe. |
