there's nothing wrong with dsm turbos, no doubt i loved the 20g i had on my 91gsx, though that would be the upper limit for all but the most extreme miatas. It's been years since i've had my gsx but when i was last reading about them some of the common uprade turbos you could have gotten would have been 20g, 19c, 18g evo 3 16g, big 16g, small 16g, 14b, and a t25. there's tons more too. so what i'm trying to say is there's no shortage of turbo upgrades.

Yeah I mean honestly If I was going to do a DIY on the cheap I would start out with a T3 super 60 .60a/r cold and a .48a/r stage 1 turbine hotside. That turbo can be had for a mere 300 dollars and everyone and their mother makes downpipes and manifolds for that turbo. The thing about using the mitsu turbo is that you basically have to use the megan racing manifold and downpipe, unless you want to get custom stuff ( thats more money then ). I dont trust the megan racing stuff...I know some of you use it but its not going to last and thast going to be a headache when you have to keep removing shit to take the manifold off when it cracks. ;)

and BEGi makes stuff for the T3, so you have a chance to get a great manifold/dp combo for one.

Seems like a bunch of choices, even if going cheap. Maybe I should wait for a used mani/dp to come for sale and then grab a cheap turbo to fit it.

you can always sell a t25 turbo quick .if you upgrade.

:bigtu: boo-yah

Turbo choices are many. Best to start with the manifold/downpipe.
