Default vortech fmu discs, remake?

I was wondering if i can just cut my 12 to 1 disc in a perfect small circle, would that theoritically speaking lower the psi?

yes. i wonder if you could try fender washers or something and not ruin the 12:1 disc. IIRC the smaller 3:1 and 4:1 discs had a small aluminum ring that wnet around them to keep them centered or something. it's been like 7 years since ive fooled with a vortech.
