Check valve for BOV
Does any one know where i can get one at? JGS precision tool no longer sells them and i can not find any others. Thanks Also, would I still need one if I have AEM F/IC? Its not a full standalone but I did not see anything about piggybacks in the BOV section of the DIY turbo FAQ.

check valve for Bov? like a 1 way valve? you would either be stuck with a BOV that is always open, or will never open.
you just need t tighten the bov spring if you are leaking at idle |
I used a check valve from the plumbing section of home depot when I was one the stock ecu. Worked like a charm and also made the BOV significantly quieter. Check home depot, lowes, or a hose shop if you have one around you.

I was confused about what I read in the DIY FAQ. "If you are determined to run your BOV VTA (vented to atmosphere) you must install a check valve on the open end to prevent leaks at idle. A few websites sell these devices. Without this, you have created a very large vacuum leak and the ECU will not be able to compensate for it, result: bad or no idle."
So if I tighten the spring it will fix that issue? |

Well I don't want to use the stock ecu but my problem is that AEM standalone is too much for me, and I dont know of anyone in my area that can tune megasquirt.

throw the stock ecu in the trash, you also need bigger injectors and a wideband |
Yea, i have been in the market for a wideband, but im still unsure on what injectors to get.

Hopefully a t28 but possibly a t25, 1997 1.8, 92 octane fuel, and around 10 to 12 psi

id say at bare minimum 305cc, id recommend atleast like rx7 460's
never hurts to go bigger than you need however |
