Chinacharger with T2 flange and standard Garrett outlet bolt pattern.
Hi, as some of you may know from my last thread, the last Chinacharger I bought turned out to be a piece of shite due to the fact that it used a non-standard flange.
The ebay seller was kind enough to offer to return my money since it was advertised as having a standard flange. I was amazed that they did this. However, this leaves me with the question of which turbo to go with. Any of you have any luck with ones which I'm describing? I've searched and come up with a couple, but I don't really want to buy any without consulting you this time, since my last one wasn't as advertised. Or should I, as my friend suggested, go with a used Garrett? Though I don't really want to do this since I would have to deal with the funny Garrett compressor outlet flange and there would be no guarantee of the condition. |
there has been much success with chinachargers, and there have been some that have messed up! but the pros highly out weigh the cons! if you had a problem with the flange pattern, contact the seller of the next turbo to verify the pattern!

My OBX GT28R turbo with the t2 flange fit perfectly. It is rather large though.

How much is it, if you don't mind me asking? I'm getting 220-ish back, and I want to finish this soon; I don't really have the money to go much more than 300.

Thanks man, looks like that'll be good. Now the debate is that or used SR20 turbo. Got one with no leaks and minimal shaft play lined up for 90 bucks... Hmm....
Lol, I just made sure that outlet flange was the right size by holding my DP up to my monitor and lining up the bolts.... They line up :D |
well i guess thats one way to do it!
