You need to go to the netherlands equivalent of Lowes or Home Depot and look for a circlip.

I use safety wire. In a pinch, I've also used a twist tie with the paper burned off. Wrap it several times, just make sure it doesn't bind.

I've used: pop rivet, paper clip, copper wire, safety pin and the actual clip.

you can get tons of them in all shapes and sizes at ACE hardware. They have those in NL right?

I use a little wire right now and it holds up on the street.

I used a pipe strap. Trimmed it around the tab for the screw.
