hey i was wondering what kind of cluch do i need for my turbo set up
i think i'm going to be running about 200 to 230 hp..

specifically the: 1.6L ZM1-XTMM or 1.8L ZM2-XTSS


you can buy it from FM for about $100-150 more than other shops!!!!


I'd look up carolina clutch.

oh i looked at the act xt 6 puck looks pretty nice it's just a little expensive

you don't really need the 6-puck version which adds a bit of cost. prostreeonline.com and caroline clutch typically have the best prices.


or you can go for something from clutchnet. get the red PP with the yellow standard clutch disc, that should be plenty, save you bucks.


or the F1 6-puck kits on ebay for $150

thye've had that sale for over two years now, when I first bought my clutch from them. however, I still think Carolina clutch beats them.

What's the pedal feel with the XD? Is it a full face disk or a puck?

HD = feels like stock, clutch engages close to the floor. can hold a good amount of torque on a 1.8L
XT = increased pedal effort. can hold almost anything you throw at it.

Im only at 7 psi, but my ebay F-1 clutch has held good since August.

the ebay clutch will hold 220-230 whp pretty easily. And has a soft as stock PP.
