Coolant reroute path

I was planning to run my coolant path from the mixing manifold through the turbo to the coolant reroute. In the attached picture I'm pointing to a plug that I thought may be a possible return line. Anyone know if this is a viable option? Either way I can still run to the reroute, but this if it's an option would look nice and clean and keep a spot for a temp sensor later.

That is after the pump, before the thermostat so that plug would be a source. Anything after the thermostat before the water pump (for example the mixing manifold) is return.

So it would be acceptable to source my air idle, intake coolant lines from the cursed water plug. I would delete, but can't find enough info on either tuning properly, or if it would have much effect to worry about it.

Thanks, that made things much more clear in my brain.

That's a good looking spacer you've got there.

I may also have a solution to your problem with routing your water lines to your turbo. Take a look here: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...e-order-91675/

I may look into that at a later time. Where would the return line from the turbo go?

That is the return line connection, you need a high pressure feed. You can pick that up off of a connection in front of the thermostat. The feed to the oil cooler works, an extra port on your reroute spacer works. Or drill and tap the block somewhere you won't hit oil or cylinder wall.... Sorry can't help with where that would be.
