Is Corksport Drift exhaust valid for a turbo application

Hello Guys,

Everything is in the title, is this exhaust CORKSPORT Drift Exhaust good for a turbo car (1.6 with a T28 turbo off a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R with Begi Mani and DP) ?

Proper turbo exhaust are difficult to find in France, and I have found this one locally..

Thanks

You may need to get something custom fabbed to hook it up to your BEGI downpipe, no idea if it will bolt up or not. Will the seller let you test fit it? What are you currently using for exhaust? If it's significantly cheaper than having something fabricated locally, give it a shot? :dunno: I can't imagine its very restrictive, looks like a pair of resonators and no real muffler.

Maybe someone who has actually touched one of these things can chime in.

Have you asked Corksport? I think they used to have a "Chat" feature on their website if you created an account and logged in.

I think it will bolt up, the BEGI DP fit to the stock cat, cat that is bolted to a "standard" catback, the corksport will replace it.

It's mediocre.

Seeing as the cross section of the pipe for the Corksport is almost twice as large as the OEM exhaust, I don't see why not. It won't be as good as a 3" back, but if it's cheap to you, go for it.

What ?

I'd love to have a 3" exhaust, but neither Artech nor enthuza want to ship it to Taxland ...
