Correct size signal line for GM EBC?

Got some 1/4" fuel line thinking that would be correct but it's a little too large. What's the right size?1/8"? The smallest ID line my FLAPS had was 1/4". How about vac line left over from a boost gauge install? Is that suitable or not good for temps near the turbo?

1/8 works.

I used 1/8 or 3/16. The trick is getting something that fits on both the solenoid and the fittings on the turbo & wastegate actuator. You can always get an vacuum hose adapter to step up in size for the larger fittings.

I ended up finding another parts store that had 3/16 and it does indeed work, thank you. Now I just figured out I need an actuator with lower psi rating so this is on hold for a couple days anyway....

lower than what came with your Begi kit? What's the issue? What is your wastegate pressure sans EBC?

The rod is adjustable. I've back it out all the way to the point of the wastegate just being closed/possibly cracked slightly out of boost and I'm still hitting my overboost protection of 170kpa. On top of that I'm guessing with the wastegate as loose as it is it's going to hurt the spool-up even with an EBC. The wastegate is already ported by Begi btw. I did ask Corky at some point what the adjustment range on the actuator was and I believe he said (though I'm no longer positive) that it is an 8-12psi range. Maybe I should try safety-wiring the wastegate open and see what kind of creep I get?
I'd like to set EBC initially to 10psi and then eventually 12psi. Seems like it'll be difficult or impossible for it to do so if the actuator itself won't let me set the boost lower than that. I was thinking about getting a non-adjustable 8psi actuator.

I have the same wastegate actuator and how it was set from BEGi the car only made 7psi max. I removed the nut so I would wind the arm all the way down. Now wastegate pressure is 11. Granted things like exhaust will influence how much boost you will produce. Are you even running some crazy unrestricted exhaust?

Again, if you make it down here for MS help we can try my fixed gt2560r actuator on your setup. I am actually looking to get an adjustable one for that car.

I responded in the other thread, but yeah maybe that's a good idea. Nothing crazy on the exhaust. Begi's 2.75" downpipe and a 3" enthuza exhaust. Unless of course I have some huge ass exhaust leak somewhere I haven't noticed but I don't think so.
