Studs?
These studs can be easily removed right( the studs where it bolts up to the manifold) or do the they have to be drilled out or would they just pop out with the jam nut technique? Im bidding on this for my friends nissan sentra se-r

ok then the 4 studs should'nt be any proble to remove, the exhaust down pipe bolts can stay since they can be used to fab up his down pipe, anyone know where we can get the 3 bolt flange required for this turbo?
He has a 1.8 motor looking for 180-200 hp with quick spool so this will work fine Im sure, From what I was told in the saab forums these turbos can boost up to 15 psi, not shabby at all and its a great looking piece

Spray on PB blaster and let it sit for 24 hours.
Then put the whole thing in the freezer for 24 hours.
Then hit the backside of the turbine housing (the side away from the studs) with a torch, trying to keep the studs as cold as possible but heat the housing as much as possible.
Mine always come out cleanly this way.
You can try the double-nut technique, but if you don't plan on re-using the studs, vice-grips will work just as well.
