cheers :-)
beauty was never the aim. something that looks like a ute and drives like a turbo miata was the aim. i'm half way there. (i have the turbo ;-) ) i can weld i promise, most of the project was done looking like this : http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...4/DSC_2274.jpg just got that tonight. i was shocked. taken the night after we got it running. the night we got it running i drove/tuned it alone till 4am. my mate bailed at about 2am :-) it only had one front brake caliper, no rears. was a wee bit scary. got up 8am, worked all day, and thats how i looked about 10pm. ie, not good. the ex mani for example i finished welding at 1:30am. it was all done in a hell of a rush. many many many thanks to Rob. couldnt have done it without his assistance! great guy! but you all know that i'm sure. yeah, the goal is to be able to out track a stock wrx or evo. if i can do that, i've succeeded. holset he351cw similar to hy35 hy9 hx35 good for about 530hp crank. hoping to max it out. in about 2 years i'll be working on it again. till then. it sits waiting. got this pic tonight too, its the only one i have of the whole engine bay as i was driving it : http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...4/DSC_2276.jpg fred. |
god damn! thats a huge ass filter!
