put a rubber cap with a clamp on it. Auto parts stores sell all sorts of sizes.

Will a rubber cap hold temps coming from the oil pan

I've had problems with the little black rubber caps drying out and cracking. I blew the end out of one on my intake manifold and one on a coolant line. It's fine temporarily, but they don't seem to last very well.

I use them on the coolant nipples on the t-stat housing with no problems. Should be ok with the oil. How long you plan on keeping the turbo off? __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
So glad I don't live in Cali, lol!! I know guys that register their car just over the border and drive mostly in Cali.

Just find a guy who won't visual check the car.

Ill have to remove the turbo forever most likely. Unfortunately, the time has come and I might need a bigger car for the job. Well I think I'm gonna leave the hose on the barb and plug the end with a bolt or a stud and stick a T bar clamp on it.
I did have another question regarding the oil feed located next to the filter on the intake side. How do I plug that? |
go to a plumbing shop and tell them what you need.

Everything worked out and I am driving without the turbo. I miss it already. anyway I assume my car will stay NA for a while. Let me catch everybody up to speed. No leaks everything is plugged. Here is my problem. I had to change both O2 sensors because I messed up one of them on the uninstall. I went with the bosch option and now my car has a CEL of P1136. Has anybody dealt with this before?
