I'm using maxxecu race for engine/trans control.

I definitely overbuilt it. I had to cut out the firewall/trans tunnel from the lfx build and it was insanely stiff compared to stock body that I cut out.
I'm using 2" .120 wall tube for frame rails and spring perches(overkill but I only have 2 inch die for tube bender), and 1.25" for fender supports and 1.5" for the rest.
I still gotta do tubs but I'm leaving it until next season may be. I think I'll have to go bigger wheel/tire than my current 245 15x10s setup. So gonna wait until I figure that out
I saw 18x11 on HyperMiata may be see if I can do the same.

Ram or Challenger? Who did you source your flash tool from, or did you buy one outright?
I'm not surprised you had to modify the firewall, but I was surprised you managed to shove the entire engine behind the rack. Then I saw how much you cut and yeah... That tracks 😆

2018 Charger, I tried looking for a tool but it's like 900$. I ended up using slg, they flash for 200.

Getting close to being able to start it but now I'm getting paranoid about the drivetrain being able to handle the power.

I ended up reusing the LFX swap driveshaft, it has a 1310 yoke on engine side and a CV joint on the other(I had it made at the driveshaft shop). My understanding is that it's the same as V8 roadsters setup but shortened for my application.

1)Does anybody know how much HP/torque can the driveshaft take? Quick Google search says up to 600tq?

2)Also does anybody know how much HP/TQ can g80 diff take?

3) I also want to run bigger wheels/tires like 17's or 18's 275-315 ish width. I have seen a few cars that run those but there is very little info.

Do people use 5lug to 4x100 adapters or getting custom 4x100 17's/18's made?

Thanks for your help.
PS I keep forgetting to take photos and these are a few months old but you should get the idea of where it's at.

Good god. Don't think I have any worthwhile answers to your questions, but damn you've been at it.

I remember when I did my G80 conversion, the general consensus amongst the GM guys was that the CTS-V guys started to run into problems with those diffs when they launched them at above-stock power. However, I also seem to remember reading that the CTS-V G80 diffs had a bit stronger internals than the G80's found in the CTS/Solstice/STS/etc. I might be wrong there as well. Interested to see what others chime in with.

What's the projected/targeted HP/TQ number for this thing?

Lol at the thread title change

Driveshaft: Can't speak to the V8R driveshaft specifically, but I use the same style joints for mine shaft and the local shop told me it wouldn't have issue with launching at 1000whp. 3" aluminum shaft.

Same for the diff, yes the CTSV guys shred them, but remember they are also launching 4500lb cars on stickies. Lot less stress involved in moving a 2600lb car on track. I would think by the time you're shredding driveshafts/diffs your also shredding the rest of the driveline pretty regularly.

Someone else changed the title, it is pretty comical...

I don't have a specific HP/TQ number in mind. I'll just do something like 5-7psi of boost. I'd imagine it should be around 500-600hp/TQ and I'll try to keep the torque low.
I have enough fuel/turbo/motor for 800 but I think it would be too much to begin with.
I'm feeling a bit better about the driveshaft/diff now. Thanks for you help.
