Default air flow meter settings

which screw and which way do i turn to adjust the airflow meter correctly
its a 1.6 hks turbo kit and im using 326cc injectors out of a mazda 626

The search button is your friend.

The adjustment that needs to be made is under the black plastic cover on the top of the AFM, and you're not merely turning a screw. Pry that cover off and you'll see a clockspring attached to a toothed wheel. You need to move the position of the spring relative to the wheel. Specifically you want to tighten the spring, so that the flapper deflects by a smaller amount for a given airflow.

if it were me and it's a oem AFM, id simple drill out the idle-screw cap, and turn that back about one full turn counter-clockwise.
