UPDATE.

After an hour or 2 of a friend's time last night, the tuning computer had updated emanage software.

Did it fix the problem? No. :vash: :vash: :vash: Fecking eManage still doesn't log RPM, it just reads "0rpm".

So anyway, I was driving home tonight on a 2 lane road with no one around me. I wanted to know just how bad the stock computer would be at fuelling the increased air flow. I dropped into 2nd in a 50 zone and slowly excellerated (without any boost) to over 4000RPM (out of closed loop). The a/f ratio immediately dropped to 14.5:1 (from 14.7:1 in closed loop). This is correct, cause of the bigger injectors and no extra air. I slowly opened up the throttle to increase the boost pressure to ~0. The air fuel ratio stayed at around 14-14.5:1. I slowly gave it a little more = ~1-2PSI, and the a/f ration didn't start to lean out, it started to get richer... :eek5: I gave it a little more (still travelling well under the limit with noone around me). At around 3-4PSI the a/f ration dropped to 11:1... So I gave it a little more... r. That is what my gauge says when it is off the scale rich.

I thought it must be because I eased it on and the computer had time to keep up with it. I went back to vac, and then eased the throttle all the way to the floor. The redline comes at you very quickly with just 6PSI... :cool: A/f ratio went almost instantly to r.

I got off it again, slowed right down and just stomped on the loud pedal. :eek: :eek: :eek: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :yippee:

I was a giggling mess. The a/f ratio was rich as all hell all the way to redline. I have been pussy footing it all week thinking that I was going to be running lean.

When I got home I pulled the AFM off and leaned it out a click. Put it back in and went for a spin.

In boost, the a/f ration stays between 11.5 and 13 unless I'm at WOT, where it still just says "r". :bigtu: Perfect.

Now I just need to fix the bloody eManage so I can up the timing when not in boost! :sadwavey: :crx:

Did you buy the Zena Racing couplers from ebay, or direct from their site? I've been looking at their site, but nervous about the seemingly ridiculously low prices. Love to hear your opinion of dealing with them!

You have keep on to them, but I bought all my couplers there, and yes, they were ridiculously cheap.

If you are running 10.0 a/f or less (gauge reading 'R') at WOT you're losing power because you're too rich.

Running too rich is not a good thing, get that emanage working and lean it out at WOT.

Those are great pictures! It had me going for awhile as I could not fiqure out how you fit all the stuff in there when I had tried it that way and no way. You seemed to have so much room ..... duh RH drive car might explain it.

nice work buddy!!!! man I can not wait until school is over to start messing around with mine. I'm doing a diy setup centered on the same manifold you have but im staying with a mitsubishi style t25.

good looking on the turbo adapter plate, you will be able to help alot of people out with those pics.

im curious to see how durable these thing gauge manifold are. we'll have to see.....
