currently working on something similar...... just havent completed it yet...


Being a Saab technician I have quite a few OEM parts kicking around.

At first I was going to use a Saab 9-5 cooler, but i couldnt conviniently mount it....
I would say the best bet is the Saab 9000 oil cooler, or maybe the saab 900 85-93.... both are much smaller and easier to mount...

and the 91-93 9000 factory "sandwich" plate is almost a direct bolt on for a 90-93 miata;) however I havent tested that yet, but I will post with the Results

I have the same oil cooler, getting direct, ducted air and it sucks my ass. Even on sub 70* ambient temperatures I can't get oil temps below 260*. I switched to an RX-7 cooler.
