Drain plug

So today I PLANNED to crank my car for the first time. Added oil. Then water....

But my drain plug seems to have fallen out in the 3 months my car has been down. Does anyone know what the thread size is on the plug so I can get this damn thing running :vash:

if you mean the radiator drain cock, i don't know the thread size/pitch, but its help part #61127. Any autozone or oreilley should have it

I tried every one in my local Autozone. I first tried to use the one labled for Mazda/Nissan but it was to small....

part number is the same for 91+, what yr is your miata?

if youre in a pinch i would try a local junk yard, im sure they'll just give it to you

93 as it says in my sig. I've been back and forth to Autozone all day trying to figure it out. I guess I'll take one last trip with the number you provided.

if they don't have it, im sure they can at least order it, but you'll have to wait a few days. come to think of it though, it sounds like you grabbed the right part the first time. are you sure you have a oem radiator?

Ok... After 4 trips to Autozone today trying to find the right drain cock for my radiator my car still sits in the garage waterless and not running. Autozone has no cock for it , I tried #61127, nor can they order one. There are no Mazda dealerships within 50 miles of here and they even have to order it and it would cost ~$16 which I think is total BS :vash:

Does anyone know what size bolt could be used? That would save me lots of trouble.

And no I'm not %100 sure this is an OEM radiator... I guess I will have to get a thread gauge and see what size this thing is...

Go to a radiator shop. Dude gave me like 4 for free. Two worked. No idea on the size.
