I plan to dump... But the car is for track-use only.

EWG dump is great if you're under 23 years old for about 3 days then you get sick of it and wish you had routed it back into the exhaust.

I've only heard 1 glass pack on an EWG and it just had a different obnoxious sound, not better.

But hey, I'm an old effer (not Corky old, but old enough ;) ) according to that douche at M.net.

One other bad thing about dumping the EWG is you can't hear shit else like detonation that would make you want to get off the gas quickly.

Good input guys. I looked at YT videos with DSM's with open dumps and so on. I need to hear it in person.

One more thing. I like quiet when cruising and driving around town under light loads. I don't need to be in boost all the time, but when I am in full boost, having the wrath come out isn't a bad thing. That is why I like my HKS SSQ BOV. Under full throttle and lift that thing screams "don't eff with me bitches". I love it.

Thanks for all the input. I am snagging that new turbo this weekend. I guess the outcome will depend on how motivated I get.

Lemme know how much your looking for at turbo, I may have to pick it up from you.

That has been my only complaint about running a 60mm external gate on my RX-7.

I'm not venting my Miata setup as I'm running an internal gate, if I were to be running a real wastegate I would just vent it as it's easier than recircing it back into the downpipe and also keeps it easier for downpipe removal/installs.

I WOULD NOT recommend venting a internal gate, those flappers never seem to seal 100%.
