Default Need you guys help

i am new to this forum and new to the miata. Recently my relatives throw me a miata 96 1.8L with WRX trubo, 430cc injectors etc... i have been driving for about a week and realize that smoke comes out when the car deceleration. It happens when the engine is hot. Sometimes i see a puff of smoke come out from the tail pipe when i am about to stop. Is it about time to replace the engine? I did the compression test. it's very low like 100,125,125,150. It's not normal at all. 4 spark plugs build up carbon. Everytime start up the engine you have to give some gas in order to keep the idle. Please help.

Time for a motor refresh.
Please put a mod-list in your signature... particularly what ECU are you running?

Ok, instead of rebuilting it, i am going to replace the motor this coming weekend. Acutally, i will have a mechanic going to do it. Is there anything i need to tell him before start up the engine? I am have a SAFC controller, perhaps i may need to do all the setting?

Can you give me a guide where i can add signature, please ? I can't find anywhere in my profile.
