dyno: effect of VICS on 99/00 turbo
1 Attachment(s)
I saw another thread talking about this.
So I'm posting a dyno plot of a friend's car that we did back in 2001. It is 2 consecutive runs with and without the VICS electrical connector disconnected. It looks like VICS should be active from 3500 to 5600 RPM. Car was a '99, AVO kit, GT2554, 6 psi, stock exhaust, TEC2 in "parallel" mode - factory ECU was running the VICS. |
looks like having VICS is a good thing.... if im reading that dyno chart correctly.
whos car was this done on? are you in california? |
I'm just gonna throw in the "VICS is not VTCS" here. if you have a 2001-2005, the effect is not the same. That's all.
