Default China 3076 (or close)--help picking one

So I want to run a 3076, ala cheapo chinese.

Looking at the ebay listings for 3076, most seem to be closer to a 2871/6 then a 3076. I haven't tried looking at larger T3ish sizes because honestly I'm struggling to keep up on the smaller 25/28/30 series...

I'm not set on having the exact specs garret lists for a 3076, but I def don't want any bigger.

So I guess I'm looking for the closest without going over

I know this is a shameless spoon feeding request, but I'm looking for a good recommendation from someone who is more familiar with wheel sizing/AR than I am. As I try to sort through some of these listings.....

PS--I'll hopefully be able to return the favor by successfully mating the "churbo" to a Tial Vband housing. I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to find out.

I was considering that and still unsure, about it.

Here's the specs I have from Garret 3076
Compressor AR .60
Comp wheel = 57 / 76.2mm
Turbine = AR .63, .82, 1.06
Turb Wheel = 55 /60mm

Here's the Godspeed 3076
Compressor AR = 70
Compressor Wheel diameter = 59.00 / 73.05mm
Turbine AR = 86
Turbine wheel diameter = 47.05 / 54.50mm

Garret 2876
Compressor AR = 70
Comp Wheel diameter = 52.7 / 76mm
Turbine AR = 64
Turb Wheel = 53.8mm

Sooooo this is why I get so confused...the chinese turbos seem to be some weird *** hybrid of the garrett stuff....and my dumb *** can't figure out what it is I should be looking for to match a 3076

18psi--have you taken measurements yet to compare to whats listed on their site??? Curious to see if they are acccurate

I'll take some measurements, just got to get something to measure it with.

From my understanding, the china 3076 will spool faster than the real one, but not make as much power.
Its essentially a garrett 2876 with a bigger comp wheel so at peak boost it will make more power.

Just my guess though.
Only logs will tell for sure

JUST MEASURED IT

Compressor
Inducer: 54
Exducer: 82

Turbine wheel: 53mm

So comp wheel is quite a bit different from the posted measurements, but turbine wheel is real close

Interesting, and pretty much what I'm seeing from he china chargers on ebay.

The comp is larger than the 3076, yet the turbine is a 2876

So whats that mean, it'll spool like a 2876 but put down more power than a 3076...or vice versa....or......or.....or...: facepalm:

Lol, i think i'll just grab a standard egay 3076, measure it, see the results and swap out accordingly if need be--unless someone has better suggestion

18--did u order/pay the price on the site? Or they sell them on ebay or whatnot. I was shocked the other day browsing CXRacing site and seeing such a huge markup versus their ebay auctions...ridonkulous

--PS--thanks for taking those measurements!!

ebay for 350 shipped iirc

the smaller turbine should definitely help with spool a bit, and larger comp exducer will help gain a bit of the topend back that the smaller turbine wheel will be losing......overall I'd guess it should be somewhere in between the two garrets, which really SHOULDN'T be that bad at all.
