Default CXRacing Aluminum radiator

I bought a cxracing radiator little less than 3 months ago. Now it has a leak from the fins from what I can tell. They told me the radiator doesn't have any warranty. I thought the radiator has a 3 months or 1 year warranty on them? Might as put more money to it and get a Koyo radiator.

CXracing, Mishimoto, Godspeed. Call it what you want, its all the same cheap ****.

I went through two mishimotos, and both had leaks right out of the box. The first had a leak around the base of the filler neck, the second had a leak from a shitty weld on the top end tank. I was so pissed the second time around I just JBweld'ed the point where I had a pin hole leak and said **** it, sold the other one to someone that had used JBweld to fix the neck.

Either take it to get braised, or get a braising kit to fix it yourself or just JBweld it.

Do these half *** companies not pressure test the rads before they ship them out?

I guess it's true what they say,you get what you pay for.

I'm glad I spent the money and purchased a Koyo rad.

I don't know.. I know we did a group buy on the godspeed radiator, which added up to like 30 or more people. I personally run one and it seems to get the job done.

If my "coolradiator.com" rad fails, then I'm sending my ching-dow to AWR for the rod davis radiator because that's how I roll.

for the price they sell those for, i would have no problem pulling out the torch and solder to fix a pinhole leak

I thought it was Ron Davis radiators? They are very nice though, have a pair on the formula ford I work on, worth every penny but it'll cost you more than a few.

You want a warranty? Don't pay $200 for a cheap **** radiator.
