Default EFR Medium Canister and BCSV

So,
I just received my new EFR6758 with the medium canister the other day and have been reading through the technical manual, but I am having trouble figuring out how much boost I can run using the BCSV. It seems that with the medium canister I can adjust preload to crack open between 10-14psi, and that the full stroke pressure is 20.6. But I guess that is where I am confused -- I am wishing to run a relatively low waste gate pressure most of the time, lets say 14psi, and then use the electronic BCSV to be able to raise that with a switchable boost map in MS3, but how much more can I run with the medium canister? I would like to have something like a 14psi waste gate and run 22psi with electronic aid, but there doesn't seem to be any guidelines on that -- or is that what the full stroke pressure is referring to; in other words the full-stroke pressure is what the recommended total boost that the canister can handle WITH BCSV, or is the full stroke pressure just the pressure the medium canister can handle on its own without utilizing the BCSV?

Thanks in advance!

I believe there are benefits of running your base closer close to your target pressure. I also consider 22psi to be close to 14psi, or even 10. I think they'd recommend running a stronger spring in the wastegate when you're shooting for 30+

This article for instance, says your wastegate spring should be half your target pressure. What Size External Wastegate Spring to Use - Turbo Lab

It matters more to MBC users, where it starts to effect your boost curve. If you're using an EBC like the solenoid on the EFR, you can tune more duty cycle at higher RPMs to counteract that.

That is inline with my thinking as well, I had heard a general reference was 170% of waste gate spring which @ 14 would be almost 24lbs. Thanks for your reply (genuinely), I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track, I think I will run the medium can at first and look at the Turbosmart option if I am having trouble... or go the dual port and 4port boost control route at some point. The way BW discusses it is confusing, and i still dont know what they mean by full stroke pressure
