Default Replacing a turbo's hotside housing?

So, to anyone who's helped me out, you know that the chinacharger I bought uses a non-standard outlet flange for the downpipe. They offered to refund my money, but I got a better idea instead. Would it be possible to replace the Chinese hotside with a Garrett hotside? I have a line for a dirt-cheap 2554 SR turbo right now.

There's already a thread on this which I found when I searched, but that was about swapping a SR 2554 to a DSM t25. This chinese turbo I have is a copy of the 2554.

What would need to be the same to do this? Keep in mind I'm not talking about the whole turbine and hotside, just the housing.

If this is a stupid question, please forgive me, I'm just looking for a solution

EDIT: Opened it up. Anyone got the diameter of the stock Garrett compressor wheel thing?

Most of those knock offs can use true garrett housings. There should be 6 bolts around the center of the turbine housing holding it on. If so then it should fit right on provided its using the same size turbine wheel, this is an absolute MUST!! The Garrett 2554 has a compressor wheel size of 42 mm inducer, and a 54.3mm exducer which equates to a 60 trim( Inducer squared divided by exducer squared times 100) with a .80 a/r housing. Turbine side has an inducer of 53mm and a trim of 62 meaning the exducer is roughly 41.5mm, and has a .64 a/r turbine housing. Provided the turbo your picking up to use the housing off of has a 53mm(bigger diameter) 62 trim wheel it should fit right on.
