Are the cheaper ones trash? IE ssautochrome or godspeed ect? 38mm flange flavour.

Turbosmart, Tial, Turbonetics. Pretty much any brand that starts with a "T" :party:

DO NOT cheap out on good boost control. Do a google search and see how some people enjoy building new short blocks when "budget" wastegates let go and their turbos makes ALL THE BOOST :giggle:

I am using 50 shipped emusa wastegate. Been on my car for almost 15k miles and never had problem with boost control. Boost cut on megasquirt is great to prevent boom if a cheap wastegate failure. Im only pushing 10psi and the softer spring of the two.

I had a synapse wastegate on my last car it was very nice but not the cheapest option.

i have a v band, water cooled, tial 38mm. been on for almost 2 years without failure.
