Default Finishing up my turbo build, couple questions

I am wrapping my turbo build for my NA 1.6 miata. I had a couple questions, I値l be searching for answers myself at the same time to see what I can find. BTw I知 running MS2 with bigger injectors on a T25 turbo.

Is it ok to run this breather or should I run a hose from it to somewhere else?

This is kinda a stupid question, can I run a vaccuum line from this section of the BOV to the wastegate for the boost controller? If not I値l just add a adapter fitting to the IC pipping before the throttle body. Just curious

Last question is my setup allows me to keep the AC and power steering. Has anyone drilled into the opposite side of the oil pan. Opposite of where everyone normally drills into for the oil return line (drivers side). Just curious, I知 asking cause their is so much more room on the passager side of the oil pan.

Thanks guys, appreciate it

1) breather is okay. You could run it to the pre-turbo intake to pull positive pressure from the crankcase, but venting to atmosphere is the lazier method
2) why not use the wastegate signal line? Ive heard wastegates shouldnt see vacuum but I could be wrong.
3) the drivers side of the pan is tried and true. Just be careful and dont hit the oil pickup, ezpz

Wastegate/boost controller signal line should come before the throttle body. The blow off valve should get the signal from after the throttle body (directly from the intake manifold).

Regarding your oil drain question. The oil drain has to move in a downwards fashion without going up as oil drains solely due to gravity. I believe back then some kits had their oil drain snake all around the engine to the passenger side but this seems like bad practice and a good way for oil to pool in the line. Going down from the turbo to the oil pan makes a straight shot to the oil pan easy. I don't see a reason to be worried about your ac.

Hey thanks for the response guys, I appreciate it. I actually do have the BOV line connected after the throttle body. My BOV has a 2nd port on it. Not sure what it痴 for

whoops, my bad! I did not see that 2nd port on it, even with you pointing it in the picture... I'm equally confused as you are.

Where痴 the signal line? Coming off the compressor housing ?

It should be coming pre throttle body/post intercooler, as you were just told.
The other BOV port is not used, it is BS, I would cap it, looks like a source of boost leaks to me.
I wouldn't snake the drain line around if I were you.

Great advice above and one other observation is the IAT sensor right before the intake: consider moving it into the cold side end tank of your IC to help avoid sensor heat soak issues.

I think you are asking how/where to move it.

You'd have to drill and tap the endtank or pipe on the cold side. Endtank is the way to go... (At least that seems to be the general consensus on the forum)

Well here痴 the finished product, I just gotta run the hose from the IC pipe Just before the throttle body to the wastegate actuator and throw a boost control on that line an change the oil tommorrow. Then start messing wit MS2 and changed the clutch etc next week. Thanks to everyone for the info 👍.

Heres the POC before and after
