First Build Day
Got started around 5pm and I was just going to fabricate the downpipe and get it back to stock, but it turns out I actually was going to have a Miata build party at my house and didn't know it.

Yeah, but the cash is tight if I am going to finish it soon. Might just make the old one work for a few more weeks, then upgrade after that. We will see though...

Dad being an ASS = no stimulus check

Nice work man. Details on how you mounted the rad please.

I took the stock mounts and bent the bottom tabs that the rad normally sits in down. Then I bent a piece of aluminum into a L shape, made two holes for the radiator to sit in, and used self tapping machine screws to attach them to the stock brackets lowering the radiator about an inch and a half. I attached the A/C condenser to the radiator with those zip tie like things that are used to hold slim fans to the radiator. Ghetto, but it works.
One last picture to tide you over till tomorrow. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...C_0064_mod.jpg |

Can't wait to see the finished product man!!! I had food and beer, but you got cheerleaders and marshmellows ftw!!! And +1 to the rims on the car...looks real good against the green! |
