Default BEGI Stage4 manifold

Since I wasn't able to find any info on this via searching around, I wanted to see if anybody is running the version 4 manifold/downpipe from BEGI? This would be the tubular manifold and divided wastegate downpipe.

Thanks much,
Rob

When I talked to Corky on Friday concerning this manifold, he said they've only shipped out 7 so far. I was looking for some feedback too.

Most of them have been installed in house. What info were you interested in?

I also wanted to get one for mine, but need to finish my engine first. Would also like to know how it would feel compared to avo log that I'm currently running.

The manifold has been an interesting experiment. The low end torque is very nice and lead to a boost control issue on the top end. To fix that, we are making it with an external wastegate now. Since the turbo has been rotated downward about 90 degrees, the downpipe is also straighter. The dyno charts and power delivery are much more linear, like a supercharger would be. I will post some shortly.

All in all, it is working well. The only complaint I have, is that it is stainless. So it will not stay the polished color for very long. But very nice to drive.

yeah yeah... I'll actually probably go with ETD again because I decided I don't want a round pipe at the flange. Thanks for the link Rob.

I'll sell you one of the 2 flanges I bought from flipside if you are looking for a 1.6 ss flange.

I have driven both the stage4 and the log style. I like the feel of the stage4 better. But then again I have not driven a stage5 yet.

I hope when Markp's car is done, he will let me drive his car. PLEASE MARK!!!!!

What about the tubular manifold feel did you like better?
