fixed my wideband
Wasted 60 bucks on a new sensor then discovered......
I UNPLUGGED THE FUCKING CONTROLLER FROM THE REST OF THE CAR! So anyway, after replacing the sensor and not seeing any change in result, I began tracing every wire to find a short. I couldn't find one. Then I decide to remove the AEM and send it in for warranty. As I'm pulling the unit out, I notice one of the wires that goes to my harness is loose. As in, just sitting there in the engine bay, not hooked up to anything. So I dig around behind the head and find a matching plug and connect them... and everything suddenly works! http://i38.tinypic.com/1twio8.jpg |
That sucks, but victory on finding the cause. I blew a fuse recently and it took me an hour finding the blown fuse, since the shop installed it.
