Default 250 hp build help.

Hey everyone! I'm completely new practically to what i could do to make my 91' miata faster. I know that I want a turbo sometime in the future and that would require a new suspension, but I want around 250 hp. Could any of you tell me a build that would get me atleast that 250 hp? and what it might cost?

You should read the stickies where all of that is outlined in detail for noobs so each and every one of them won't have to ask in a brand new thread each time a new one joins.

Welcome to the forum. Is this your "Meet and Greet" thread introducing yourself?

Welcome to the Forums!

My advice, keep that 91 going as long as possible until you can acquire a newer miata (1.8L motor).

And you will need a new clutch before a new suspension when going turbo.

Any photos of the car? Do you own a kitty cat?

Well that will be a long time till the car dies because it has less than a 100,000 when I got it and still has less than that.

Cool,

I'd try removing weight before adding any power mods if you still plan on using the 91' as your project. This way you're not eating into mpg, and actually may increase your mpg doing so.

Wheels & Suspension, Clutch & Flywheel, and maybe an aftermarket radiator would be the only thing I'd change. Keep the motor maintained like butter, drive the **** out of it while it's slow.

Do you not have pics? Or a kitty cat?

Button wasn't working, figured it out though.
And it's kind of hard to get those 10 posts when you use the search bar and common sense :-/
