FM cast elbow 4 bolt flange?

Hey guys,

I picked up a used FM turbo kit and I need to find a flange that makes up with the cast turbo elbow that comes with the kit (the 4 bolt flange). I am getting my buddy to fab up the exhaust. I just need to gather all the pieces I need. Buying an FM downpipe is out of my budget.

I've been searching online with no luck and I brought the elbow to multiple local exhaust and parts shops to match one up with no luck.

I've emailed FM directly but was told they don't sell the flange separately and was told to go to a local local muffler shop for them to help.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Maybe you've bought a flange for your own project?

I've attached some photos of measurements.
thanks!

I google searched '2.5" 4 bolt exhaust flange' and found a lot of options.

Do the measurements here line up with yours? T3 Turbo Outlet Flange, 4 Bolt, 2.5" Outlet, 1/2", 304 Stainless

Looks like the outlet size isn't the same. I measured 58.55 (let's say 59mm) and 59mm is 2.32in.
Also, the stud spacing doesn't match. I measured close to 66mm which is almost 2.60in.

Yes, there are a lot of options when I Google search 4 bolt exhaust flanges but I've yet to find anything that matches what I measure.

I think it's a 4-bolt 2.5" GT30 turbo discharge flange.

Most of the flanges in FM's exhaust components are made by Vibrant Performance:

From center of the stud to the center of the stud diagonally it measures about 93mm. In the catalog it shows 89.69mm would that be a problem?
The outlet in the center is also a different measurement but when I measure the visible soot from whatever was bolted to the elbow before it is pretty close to 63.5mm.

Call FM and ask them what flange they use, they're generally pretty helpful with anything regarding their products even if you buy them secondhand. At least in my experience.

This.

While it was mentioned in the OP that FM doesn't sell the flange by itself, couldn't you ask them what flange they use or get a part number from them or who they purchase it from and go to the vendor directly?

93 + (7.81/2) = 96.5405
89.69 + (10.32/2) = 94.85

Almost two millimeters of overlap, probably not gonna work.

FM's exhausts are manufactured by Thermal in Lancaster CA (https://thermalrd.com)

A sqaure plate, holesaw and a drill? Should take 30min to fab something up.

Cut the flange off and weld a v band flange.

It's cast iron, welding to it doesn't really work very well.

I seem to recall seeing a post by someone who'd turned the FM outlet casting on a lathe to make a v-band flange, though.

You *could* just buy a downpipe from FM and build off that. :)
