Just measured my GReddy yesterday at 38mm. I was going to volunteer since my engine is out, but it looks like you have enough takers. If you want another, I am running AC and PS and looking to convert to a drilled pan.

Perfect, thanks for that answer. Any chance you can also tell us the size and thread pitch for the drain flange mounting bolts? We supply some with ours, but not sure about teh GReddy turbo.

Something you guys should offer as an option with your kits is the appropriate drill and tap to complete the install. Unless you already do offer that.

We can do that...

When we put the final version of the kit in our online store, these will be available as an option.

Really, anyone who doesn't have the bit and tap should go to HarborFreight and pick up a whole tap set. They're usually on sale for $20 or so. The bit can be bought individually from a hardware store.

I'm just throwing this up here for posterity but... I used a fixed length braided SS hose (can't recall what size) with AN ends on it from ATP and then made up any length differences with cheap as dirt pipe nipples from Home Depot at the top. McMaster sells them in aluminum too for like $2-5 depending on size.

So it looks like this:
turbo flange, pipe nipple, female pipe coupler, pipe-AN adapter, hose, AN-pipe adapter, oil pan.

probably a little heavier but it keeps the hose away from the turbo and allows me to adjust the length without buying 10 hoses.

FWIW: The 1/2 NPT tap doesn't come in the standard $20 tap set. It's in a seperate "pipe thread tap & die set" that's ~$15-20, and is always out of stock when you need it.

If you need a tap, I suggest ebay. I bought mine from an estate auction listing for $.99 shipped. :D
