fuel injectors( biggies)
can some one point me to a company who makes 800-900 cc injector, either that are a direct fit, or can be easily made to fit, im a machinist i can mod stuff, but i would rather not. a better questions is what are 400hp+ guys running? and im not doing secondarys!!
thanks josh |
Where I bought my injectors (440cc Ford): Fuel Injectors - Diesel Powerstroke Injectors - Bosch Injectors - Siemens, Denso, Rochester Injector Sets - FiveOMotorsport They'll custom-fit injectors for you if needed.
Makers of damn near every injector imaginable: RC Fuel Injection 750cc ought to be enough for 400HP. |
sorry to thread jack but can i run jdm supra injectors 440s?
|
If you have an ECU capable of driving low-impedance injectors, then yes.
|
can that be done with mega squirt?

ok let me shine some light on my build, im sure some people have seen it on here or some other forms, its the tube front end drift car.
some info on the engine 1.8l with 99 head very extensive head work including porting, shim underbucket, oversize valves, bronze guides and flow testing carrillo rods and weisco pistons, the motor will hold over 500hp no prob, i work for a performance machine shop, so engine dosnt concern me cams integral r3 intake and r1 exhaust .490 @ 295* intake .455 @ 282* exhaust head flows 247cfm @ 28" h20 intake GT3071R turbo .63a/r will be using MS PNP, im assuming i can run what i want for injectors, i may need to wire a resistor box i dont think that 750 will be enough,my friends honda that i built, is running saturated rc 750's and he was struggling to make over 400whp(402 to be exact) id like to max out my turbo and not have my injectors running on the edge. so id like something in the range of 850cc(85lb/hr) |
ok so a mitsu style injector is a direct fit for us???

As said before 750's should be fine for 400 hp.

Megasquirts generally are capable of driving lo-z injectors, however there are some caveats.
With the MS1 CPU (which is what's used in MSPNP), lo-z injectors cannot be used if you are running high-rez code. Using hi-rez code is a good idea for injectors at that size, if you want it to idle well. Also, the MSPNP does not permit you to easily run additional grounds, as lo-z injectors produce a lot of noise and pass a lot of current. So with a PnP, yes, resistors would be best. If you want to build a standalone Megasquirt, then you could easily run Lo-z injectors without resistor packs, which is the only way to derive the full benefit of having lo-z injectors in the first place. |
One of the vendor sponsors on this site, Deatschwerks has 880s and 1600s for the RX7 that should be a drop-in if you make the proper calculation adjustments in MegaSquirt: Deatschwerks
and there is contact info and reference to a group buy discount discussed on this thread https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t33639/ Good luck. |
our 880's and 1600's arent plug and play but do include clips, and will fit the fuel rail. We have sold a couple 73lb sets to people on the board.
|
are these deatschwerks injectors saturated??
|
if their high z then yes if there low z then no but the turbo rx7 injectors are high z
|
i just checked, the big ones are lows aswell, so i will have to run a resistor box it looks like, unless i make adaptors to run bosch 1000cc's they are the cats meow, sick control with them, your car will idle perfect
|
Yeah bro fuckkin sick bro *cracks open a bud*
|
venom makes dirrect fit 720cc injectors
|
thats not big enough
