Going turbo for the first time...help a NEWB out.

So my current setup is a JRSC with TDR IC on a '97M Edition. Im pretty much maxed out on what the JRSC can give so I've decided to go turbo. I've decided to keep the TDR IC and go with a BEGI kit with Megasquirt as a piggyback for fuel and timing keeping stock ECU to take care of all the other stuff.

So now Im trying to decide on which BEGI kit I should get. I want roughly 220-230whp with maybe maybe maybe the possibility of more power if funding permits me to build the motor(but not planning on going higher anytime soon). I know I want the T2560 due to having the ability to make more power if I want to later.

Should I go S kit with the T2560 or go S3??? Obviously if I go S3 I wouldnt need the intercooler or fuel management. Im not really sure what is the difference between the base S kits and the S1,2, or 3 kits besides the DP, intercoolers, and air scoops. Is there really any other significant differences? Maybe I should just go S kit with the better DP?

i wouldn't bother with a kit.

order a manifold, dp, turbo, intake, heat shield shields, oil line kit, water by-pass kit. have them rotate the turbo for the -S kit.

what she said...lol
you dont need to limit yourself to a kit, call begi up and consult with them about what else you still need and they will work with you, good peeps
