What kind of tires did you use to pull a 2.0 60' with that kind of power?

Hey mark, wondered if I would see you here. This board almost seems like a filtered version of m.n. boards, with only people I already like plus the ability to post pictures.

Oh I'm finally done with the belts. My hands look like I put them in the blender, but it's all good. Doing the timing belt was a pile of suck for the first few hours, but easy once I figured it out.

Son of a bitch. I put everything back together and fill it up with antifreeze and it immediately starts leaking. What did I do wrong? I used plenty of gasket sealant and I torqued the bolts down plenty tight I thought. Any ideas?

Hey Beer, what intake do you have with that 99 head? I am wondering if it would be useful/interesting/possible/fun to implement VVT using the 99 head and intake.

I tried some VICS experiments when I first installed it. Just leaving it in the "low rpm" position seemed to work best. I tried always high, low in vaccum, high in boost and always low. I think... this was a few years ago.

The heads didnt get VVT until 2001 I beleive.

Wow I'm cursing like the guy from boondock saints. It was just two lousy untightened bolts. Leak is fixed. Woot. Now back together again.

God dammit. It worked fine at cold temperatures but it pisses coolant everywhere under pressure. Back to square one.

I never have and have not had any leaks (3x water pump changes)... my guess would be the gasket installed backward, or it got crimped on an edge or something.

Yeah, that could also be it....that paper gasket would easily get crimped.
