Greddy turbo inlet and exhaust housing with Volvo td04hl CHRA???

Hi this is very possibly a very noobish post but I have searched and I was unable to find an answer, anyway I have a greddy td04-15g with a nackered shaft and compressor wheel and to re-build it completely I'm looking at £250 but I can get a good Volvo td04-15g for £100. My question is will the turbines and chra fit the greddy compressor and exhaust housings?? I'm not sure if the greddy has a diffrent compressor wheel size, have any of you guys done anything like this before??

Thanks Mike

Anyone???

Yes. A td04h-15g is the same regardless of the application. The only thing I would be concerned about is whether or not the volvo used a water cooled CHRA.

cool, I will give it a try. About the watercooling from what I can tell it is only watercooled. This could be a cheap way around refurbs :)

Any turbo is oil cooled, watercooled is a plus and FTW.

90% OF volvo turbos were/are water cooled. Early volvos used both Mitsubishi, or Garrett turbos. The Later TD04 turbos were def water cooled. as long as the Chra swaps over, you will be good to go.

Sorry I ment only oil cooled, Hmm I will see how it goes.

Do you mind if I ask what the outcome of this was? I’m currently doing a turbo build on my Miata and I’m debating on doing the same thing with my greddy turbo.
