help!!!

ok, i installed the BEGi turbo kit these past 2 days, we got to the point of firing up the car... it says in the instruction manual the fuel pressure gauge should be reading about 35-38 psi. mine is reading about 45 psi. the car idles for about 10-15 seconds and dies out.

we switched the fuel in and out lines to the regulator thinking that we had the fuel lines mixed up, but the car did not even start.

vacuum lines are all hooked up and secured. but vacuum is not reading on the boost gauge itself. the vacuum line going from the gauge to the turbo almost feels like its blowing out air.. WTF?

i need help figuring out my issue here, does anyone have any suggestions.. thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Is it the modle with an adjustment for the base pressure? Are there kinks in the lines? Even at 50 psi you should be able to idle just fine, what about vaccum leaks between the afm/maf and the throttle body or even on a loose hose somewhere?

dont think its the adjustment, i was messing with it while idling and nothing happened. no kinks anywhere in the lines. checked all connections, nothing is loose.

im really puzzled by this because the car has enough fuel pressure to start, then idle but suddenly die. when in idle i try to give it gas and it cuts out and dies. and the check engine light starts to flash.

Sounds like a leak in the intake tract somewhere dude. To much FP will cause over rich condition and poor idle quaility, but a vac leak etc can shut off your FP and or cause the afm/maf to read improperly making the situation even worse. I suggest you look over all your couplers and hoses.
