HKS Turbo Manifold

Will be purchasing a Greddy Turbo setup from a 1.6 and will be installing it on my 1.8 and I have begun shopping for Manifolds.. Came across this HKS one for $100.

For $100 it's a great deal, but you want the inconel hardware from Trackspeed.

Should I pick this up rather then continue to ponder?
and were you referring to these?

The HKS one that I know of (I used to have one) uses a t2 connection, so I don't think that'll work with the greddy turbo kit.

not trying to thread jack but i too am in the same boat looking to buy a fairly cheap manifold for my 1.8 and was wondering how well the hks manifold preforms. What are other options with t2 and dsm housings? thats what the greddy kit uses correct?

The HKS is a perfectly good manifold, but you'll have to make your own downpipe and given how high and where the turbo is located, it's a tight fit.

strange. I was talking to someone and they had done what i want to do. what manifold do suggest?

The Greddy turbo will work with a t2 flange. You may need to work with the down pipe some to make it fit.

Or better yet, scrap the Greddy down pipe, build one or have one made for you.

I was just going to scrap the greddy one and have a custom one made..

just out of curiosity do you have any idea what it would cost?

FWIW-

I have the HKS- It's been in use for 5-6 years(maybe 7 at this point) Custom DP is necessary- you may want to consider getting your turbo ceramic coated to keep the heat down-
It works and is reliable. My Custom DP has lasted as well.
"IF" you need the EGR FM will sell the fitting/adapter you need. (I made my own with some misc Brass fittings).
