How low is low?

This shot really gives a good representation of how low my low mount turbo setup is.

No, that's my dad, the owner.

Kind of a long going joke with me and paul. For a seriously good long while I thought that was paul. I <3 my flannel.

paul May 2, 2008 09:31 PM

the turbo doesn't hit the block.

i shut the motor down quick enough after i heard the pump gears grenade and saw no oil pressure that i think the rest of the motor is fine. there is no scoring on the cylinder walls or anything. I alread bought a low mileage 94 motor to replace it though.

for a grand total of $38.59 :) i have that same levelor too

cjernigan May 3, 2008 12:26 AM

Load levelers are awesome. More helpful when taking the entire motor and trans out at once I'm sure but either way they're worth the $39.

disturbedfan121 May 3, 2008 12:32 AM

taking the motor out of pauls car was super simple, just wish the other 2 kids lifted something heavy.....IE paul and i lifted the hoist(twice) carried the head, and carried the block lol

I wish I had that much room to work. I did my engine swap in the driveway, and finished just as soon as the HOA had their lynch mob together.
